WHY AND HOW 'LA VELA DE LAS AUTENTICAS INTREPIDAS BUSCADORAS DEL PELIGRO'?
The people of Mexico are an example to learn from who have embraced this Third Gender in the most graceful way, accepting them into the society and making way for their success. The Muxes as they are called, hold a parade each year in the capital city with great pomp and show to celebrate their pride and respect for their community. Joined by gays too, this parade has gained appreciation worldwide.
The Mexican society believes the Muxes to be children of God and are believed to take care of the sick and serve old parents even better than women do. This is the reason why Mexican parents do not mind if their children belong to the Third Gender. They have accepted this community as a creation of God meant to serve the needy, which is why they take pride in them and do not shy away from having such a member in their family. The parade each year holds beauty contests and other fun events to make the party a sought after event by the nation.
