WHY AND HOW 'YOGA' IS CELEBRATED
Yoga is an ancient practice of the Hindu culture, which is considered to be all about control, focus and unity of mind, body and soul. Yoga aims to connect us with our inner self and leads us on the path to finding the divine. Not just in India, the health and other benefits of yoga have been acknowledged by various forms of medicine around the world and people all over the world practice yoga for a healthy body, mind and soul.
The ancient scriptures describe yoga as a means of finding the divine. There are various ways in which one can find God and based on this theory, there are 5 types of Yoga. Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Hatha Yoga, gyan Yoga and Raja Yoga. All of these are considered to calm down our hearts and minds and brings deeper consciousness to us.Yoga, is widely known to have great health benefits which have been accepted internationally. A practice of holding different poses while keeping your mind calm and focusing on your breath and pose are the most important aspects of yoga..
