Celebration of Happiness (21) – Prayer (Around the world)

"Accept That You Aren’t Always in Control and Have Faith"

Faith is what can move the mountains and drain the seas. It is the single force that can even move the Gods, and prayers are the way by which we tell the almighty that we have faith in him.

Offering prayer is a tradition followed by people all around the world. The method of offering prayers or the form in which people pray might differ, but this holy act is practiced by every culture and society around the world. Hands folded or opened to beg, by dancing or singing, crying or by mere silence, the world has found various ways for the people to connect with the almighty and to rest their faith in him.

Some do it out of love, others out of fear. While some are driven by faith, others are driven by needs. The supreme power, the driving force behind this universe is remembered and looked up to in various ways and for various reasons. This practice is followed in each and every part of the world. Different religions have different gods and methods of offering prayers. Prayer not only unites the devotee with God, it also unites nations and cultures in one tight string of faith and hope.

Faith Can Move Mountains

Do not put all your eggs in one basket – is what management gurus say. But try keeping at least some in god’s basket and have faith is what the believers will say. It is time you lose control and let the uncontrollable things be. Leave your life in the hands of God and rest your faith in him. Let go of the worries of what you cannot change and embrace life with the belief that everything will be fine and that God will take care of everything.
